We currently serve Georgia's Atlanta Region, which includes 11 counties and the city of Atlanta: Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, and Rockdale.
Grandma Betty's serves students Pre-K to 12th grade. In addition, we offer collaborative resources for the caretakers of the children.
Upon graduation, Grandma Betty's will assist with connecting the young adults to resources and opportunities that can continue to serve them and we encourage the children to register as volunteers for Grandma Betty's. We will always be family.
We allow members to remain in the program up until 6 months after their parent returns home in efforts to help with the parents' reentry into society; or upon completing high school.
Yes, visitation is for every child who's parent sentence being served in the USA. Grandma Betty's Staff will discuss visitation options, but we are committed to providing a way for families to stay connected.
